KINGSTON, Jamaica– The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA)is deeply saddened by news of the killing of cricket umpire Carlton Best.
Best was reportedly robbed and killed earlier this week in Trinidad after he went missing.
WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds said “The WIPA family are very saddened by this news. I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Carlton Best’s family and friends. This is a great loss to them and to the cricket fraternity.”
