KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) whole-heartedly congratulates the Guyana Harpy Eagles on winning the West Indies Championship 2025 title, their third consecutive West Indies Championship title.
The Guyana Harpy Eagles continue to display their dominance in this format, drawing their final round match against the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force to end the tournament unbeaten and secure their eighth (8th) West Indies Championship title in ten (10) years. As they did in 2024, due to an increase in prize monies afforded by the newly negotiated and signed CWI-WIPA Memorandum of Understanding, Guyana claimed the grand prize of USD $250,000.
WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds, remarked, “Congratulations to the Guyana Harpy Eagles on winning their third consecutive West Indies Championship title, a sign of continued dominance in the four-day format. We wish the entire team continued success.“
